HeY Im BaCk!!! WhOoP WhOoP!!!

Hey guys i am finally back from camp WHOO HOO!! sorry i promised i would post and i didnt find any time to do it i hope you all can forgive me !! but i am gonna post some stuff ok here goes...
**movies** : ok i am sorry to tell you all but i have heard nothing but bad things about the village not only from critics but also from my friends and family lol but here are some of the reviews : "[Shyamalan] hasn't lost his eye as a director, but the story is a mess, boring at first and then becoming progressively sillier until it loses complete credibility."
-- Glenn Whipp, LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS , ; A maddeningly miscalculated hack job."
-- Phil Villarreal, ARIZONA DAILY STAR; "As a failure, The Village is certainly interesting, but a failure it stubbornly remains."
-- Rob Vaux, FLIPSIDE MOVIE EMPORIUM ;  "An enraging bit of nonsense that is made all the worse by Shyamalan’s apparent delusion that he has created something extraordinary."
-- Peter Sobczynski, CRITIC DOCTOR ; yeah i think you guys all get the point but hey there were two good reviews out of the fifty i read so here they are :
"Shyamalan deftly turns a familiar fairy tale into an eerie scary tale."
-- Carrie Rickey, PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER ; "The Village often wavers, but it never completely fades away."
-- Bill Muller, ARIZONA REPUBLIC : but yeah maybe i will go see it still if you all are still going to. i mean critics are often wrong right?
**music**: as for music i am excited to announce that   on the 5th "Incubus" is coming WHOOP WHOOP!! and then on the 7th "less than jake" with "auto pilot off" in the venue.  well that is all i cared to mention but yeah  hey i am going to new york on the 12th and we are driving UUUUHHH!! so i was wondering if someone would burn me some music and if you do i would be ever so greatful and i will bring you back a present from new york (a good one too cause i will be getting a big pay check !!) so just let me know call me or email me if you would be able to do that i like the stuff that jen suggested or i could make you a list or something  my email is fallout_princess13@hotmail.com k love you guys bye!!

music for the road

wow... I just dot back from a 12(!!!) hr drive from New Mexico.  thats nearly 12 hours of none stop music (ya know theres rest stops and stuff to consider).  therefore I have found some of the best music to make a LONG trip dealable.

FOR LONG STRETCHES OF NOTHING:  try something fast paced that really gets you going.  it makes the nothingness pass by much faster...  I suggest: PUNK-O-RAMA 9 [totally great mix including Bad Religion,  Dropkick Musrphys, Matchbook Romance and HorrorPops. PLUS it comes with a free DVD!], 2003 warped tour comp (i'm sure that the 2004 one is great I just haven't gotten it yet.) [which includes tsunami bomb (who came this past last night in concert and I'm totally bummed that I missed out), Rufio, glassjaw, NOFX, senses fall and many other greats.],  some songs from The Early November's 'the room's too cold' is good, also Coheed and Cambria, Name Taken's 'the silent game',  Brand New 'Deja Entendu', Taking back Sunday 'tell all your friends' (or anything before the line up change), ect...

FOR THOSE THINKERS:  go for the emo scene.  I suggest  Dashboard Confessional (some songs off 'a mark a mission a brand a scar cd can be listed as good paced too, but not quite FAST pace), also, Something Corporate, Matchbook romance, The Early november again, Jimmy Eat world, accustic Saves the day ect.

FOR THOSE THAT ARE EITHER LOADED ON CAFFINE, GINESING(and Josh, no I didn't see any little bottles of ginesing but I did see tablets!) OR ARE JUST IN A REALLY GOOFY, HYPER MOOD....  theres the fun mixes like the 10 things I hate about you soundtrack, Oldies [a really good ones are the Remember The Titans soundtrack, Beatles 1, or that one Beach Boys mix that has like 30 songs on it.]  and if those aren't old enough... 40 and 50's BIG BAND SWING AND JAZZ MUSIC! (no, that is not the name of the cd... just the genre)  I was lucky enough to have Spaz's bro make old records into cd's for me, how ever most cd stores have that stuff.

Well I'm gonna jet off to bed now....  enjoy!!
